When I look at something I've drawn/painted, I can usually recall what was going on in that particular time in my life. Sometimes, words just can't express what you want to say. I think that is why I have always been drawn to portrait work, because I have never really been good with expressing my feelings through spoken words. The words get jumbled, rearranged and misinterpreted. Because of that, art has been the outlet for my emotions.
