WATERCOLOR ON CANVAS | Daughter Series

I have been wanting to use watercolor on canvas for quite some time but was always too afraid. I don't know why, because it is simply wonderful for an artist who loves color and texture, as I have found out.

I often use watercolor paper for most of my smaller work, but was getting frustrated at all of the rules that came along with it. Using a canvas has eliminated many of those rules and I am able to focus more on the subject matter and creative expression.

I also love the fact that as soon as I am finished, the work is ready to hang as is. No framing or glass required!
